Denton ISD

• Denton ISD’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is active and participates in numerous school decisions.
• Denton ISD hosts a variety of extracurricular activities, performances, festivals, and special events throughout the year.
• This school district has its own cable channel that is available to residents living in Denton County.
• The Denton ISD Board of Trustees is named one of the top five school boards in the state by the Texas Association of School Administrators. They’re committed to growth and excellence for the district and communicate openly to Denton ISD families.

Denton ISD is comprised of two early childhood centers, 24 elementary schools, eight middle schools, four comprehensive high school, an alternative high school, an advanced technology complex and other specialized school and centers. Sandbrock Ranch residents are zoned to the following Denton ISD schools – Sandbrock Ranch Elementary, Rodriguez Middle School and Braswell High School.
