The youngest residents at Sandbrock Ranch can attend a number of great schools in Denton ISD. For those who want to learn more about Denton ISD and the many schools available to Sandbrock Ranch residents, we’ve gathered just a little bit of information about each one here.
Union Park Elementary (Est. 2019) – For our residents in Pre-K through fifth grade, this school is a wonderful place to learn. It’s bright and very energy-efficient, the teachers are nurturing, and the environment as a whole supports ideas and curiosity in little learners. Some of the notable programs at Union Park Elementary include robotics, broadcast news, and music classes. Union Park’s campus has the ability to serve 740 students, and it’s only a seven-minute drive for Ranch residents. What an incredible resource for Sandbrock Ranch parents! Go, Pioneers!
Rodriguez Middle School (Est. 2017) – Named for public education advocates Dr. Ruby and Rosemary Rodriguez, this school offers a one-of-a-kind place for more than 800 students in grades six through eight to learn in collaborative areas filled with natural light and educational courtyards. The state-of-the-art campus at Rodriguez Middle School is designed to be incredibly energy-efficient, including more than 300 geothermal wells and a retention pond, all of which can double as unique educational tools. And it’s all just a short drive from Sandbrock Ranch!
Braswell High School (Est. 2016) – The award-winning design of Braswell High encourages smaller educational settings which give students opportunities for individual and collaborative learning, all supported by community-focused events that take advantage of the school’s unique architecture. For Sandbrock Ranch students in grades 9 through 12, there’s no better place to develop the skills, knowledge, and positive attitude to succeed in the world that waits beyond high school and for the rest of their lives.
Sandbrock Ranch Elementary (Coming August 2022!). The district broke ground on a brand-new elementary school in January of 2021. This will be the 25th elementary school in Denton ISD, and Claire Springer will be the first principal at the elementary located right here at Sandbrock Ranch!
