We’re incredibly excited about what she brings not only to the job but to our whole community. After all, we like to think of our lifestyle director as our Director of Fun! She puts together all the amazing events that are always going on for our residents here at Sandbrock Ranch, from ice cream socials to farmers markets and more. Our new lifestyle director will be working with our residents (that’s you!) to plan all sorts of exciting events and fun activities including fitness classes, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, family fun nights, and seasonal celebrations, to name a few. Better yet, she’ll be tailoring these events to the needs and interests of our residents. That means that the events and activities at Sandbrock Ranch will be one of a kind, made to cater to our unique community and the friendly people who make it up.
Residents at Sandbrock Ranch already know that our master-planned community in Aubrey, TX has a pretty full schedule of resident events and other activities every month. The lifestyle director is the person who brings it all together and makes it happen, from planning and coordinating the events themselves to putting out calendars so that residents know what’s happening and when.
To that end, we’re extremely lucky to have our new lifestyle director Michelle, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for our residents in the coming months! In the meantime, we sat down with her for a quick Q&A to get an idea of what makes our new lifestyle director tick and what residents can expect from the future!
Are you a local? How long have you lived in Aubrey?
I have been a resident of Prosper since 2021!
Where did you grow up? Big or small family?
I grew up in Indiana, and I am the middle child of 5 kids.
Tell us about your immediate family. Partner? Kids? Grandkids?
I am married with 2 sons, and 3 bonus sons! I have a total of 11 grandkids!
Pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
I have 2 Yorkies named Diesel & Denim.
Is there anywhere special you like to travel?
Jamaica is my favorite place I’ve traveled to. I love the beach!
Any special talents or skills?
My special talent is cooking, and I always make special meals, but I am known for my desserts!
What are your hobbies or interests? What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I really enjoy cooking (especially cooking seafood), watching documentaries, & traveling.
What are your favorite foods?
My favorite ice cream is the Snickers Ice Cream bar!
What are your favorite sports or teams?
Not a sports fan, but if I had to choose a favorite team, it would be The Bears because I grew up in the area.
What do you think is the best thing about Sandbrock Ranch?
The neatest thing about Sandbrock Ranch is the diversity within the community!
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am most excited about creating events that reflect the diversity of the homeowners and winging ways to build strong connections between neighbors and the lifestyle team and management team at CCMC.
